This past weekend in Manchester was nothing short of electrifying for the LudoSport community. On Saturday, 29 November 2025, athletes, fans, and friends gathered for the highly anticipated LudoSport Championa Arena UK — followed on Sunday, the 30th, by the ever-thrilling Pendragon Team Tournament.
With 64 athletes travelling from across Europe, the UK, the USA, and Japan, the city buzzed with energy as competitors came together to celebrate skill, sportsmanship, and the unmistakable spirit of LudoSport.
A Weekend to Remember
The Championa Arena UK set the tone from the very first clash of Light sabers. From opening matches to the final bouts, the arena was alive with cheers, tension, and the artistry of world-class light saber combat. Veterans and rising stars alike delivered standout performances, showcasing the grace, precision, and athleticism that define the sport.
A Proud Moment for Ireland
A huge congratulations goes out to our two Irish athletes, Aibigail and Aaron, who completed the main event at Championa Arena. They represented Ireland with incredible pride and passion.
Sixteen-year-old Abigail, the youngest competitor ever to step onto the Champions Arena stage, captured hearts throughout the weekend. Her determination, spirited technique, and infectious enthusiasm were a powerful reminder of the bright future ahead for Irish LudoSport.
Pendragon Team Tournament: Unity in Motion
If Saturday celebrated individual brilliance, Sunday's Pendragon Team Tournament showcased the power of teamwork. Squads from multiple nations joined forces, each bringing their own strategies, styles, and synergy to the field.
A massive shout-out to our Irish competitors—Abigail, Emma, Rita, Brian, and David—who fought fiercely on the team stage. Their commitment and cooperation shone through in every match.
And an extra-special congratulations to Brian, who competed on the winning team of the entire tournament! An extraordinary achievement and a testament to his skill, focus, and collaborative spirit.
